ya i thought about the dash overlays BUT they just look horible on black cars! them lit up at night do look preaty cool.... but the day look is ugly... and i realy like the day look of my stock gauges already got that blue color outter part stock..... and this way its more of a sleeper mod

and when it comes to my civic i love the suttle mods.... body kits are just to played out and most look like dog crap to me just not my style!

these led strips are just REALY SWEET!!!!!
i cannt wait till he comes out with his new flex strips!!!!!! he says he is coming out with some realy cool strips also along with the realy long ones!

i just bought 4 strips to check em out..... and i must say...... I LOVE EM!! worth every penny and so much more!
i used to love thier COLD CATHODES... BUT only downfall about them is those dam transformers!!!! they are preaty big, if any water gets into them they FRY, and you cannt extend the wires from the transformer to the cathode tubes

but these led strips just conect to POWEr/GROUND wires and the small flexable led strips......

i was gonna do cold cathodes in my interior BUT now im definatly gonna do these flexable led strips!!!!

sweet, u wnet all out, i did it to mine but ony soldered in some leds i had, but i cut off the lenses to give a more diffuse light, i like urs tho, very bright, maby u will need to tone it down a lil, have to see how bad it reflects on your windsheild

thanks for the complements....

it shouldnt reflect on the windshield at all with it being inside the gauges
tho it will be soldered to the board so hopefully the dimmer switch will still dim the strips like the stock bulbs... but i wont know exactly till i try it... BUT it should....

i did my old truck with a complete green led solder in job but the hot spots where realy bad! and i hated it... only thing i loved about them is the cleared needles that glow bright green! i just got some white overlays for it but didnt like the white faces to much just dont wanna pull all those needles off again to swap out the overlays.LOL they suck to recalibrate!

but total time of actual work on this cluster id say will be ruffly 2hours..... when i get done... which all thats left now is to swap the instruments and solder the wires to the gauges

im just preaty lazy about completing them.LOL so im just watchen tv, playen video games and worken on them from time to time...

you can do it yourself... its realy not hard..... just takes time and a extra cluster to do all the testing on.LMFAO

check ebay for a cheap used cluster and chop it apart to check it out and see if its posible!

i think a manual might be easier due to my tranny display and plastic behind it.....

im not sure what the difference is but i dont know why thiers the 2 extra indicator spots for.... ive seen one cluster on ebay with them used.... but not sure what the actual difference is.

Wow it looks amazing. I actually just ordered the stock led bulbs in blue as well so when i get them and install them I'll take pics and post them. Your setup is probably going to be nicer over the simple replacing of bulbs but it'll give an idea of what to expect.

IMO... i know the picture doesn't do them justice, cause the camera lens is not as good as the eye, but i don't really like them... to much glare. but like i said in person i am sure they are different

i should clairify that more, i like the color, but the glare i am not a fan of. if there isn't as much glare in person then i think they would be good
