Sounds like you got a good plan set in motion. I cant wait to see the results. What are time frames for designing and producing these parts? Just wondering.

i don't want to promise to be done by any specific date because people get upset when deadlines are not met

I will say that as soon as I get my research done, get some volunteers, draw up some designs, I will get to work on creating the tools and making the parts.
