Getting Lip kit what you think.
I can almost guarantee you would get no decrease in brake fade with a mugen lip. Sure it serves a functionality in theory, but in practicallity, I can almost guarantee it has no effect.
Why then, would Mugen, a leading performance company in the import world, design an aerodynamic feature for the civic that had unnecessary holes in the front of it. Mugen knows what they are doing. So, if you get a genuine Mugen lip it will be designed and tested to be awesome. If you get a Mugen-style lip (Mugen knock-off) then it may not be designed as well as the genuine Mugen.
Knock off FTW Yah im stupid and cheap so I'm going ABS front and rears Type R I decided a little more aggressive. Here soon im repainting my car cuz my paints chipping. I'm not going nighthawk black which it actually is but im using the NexGen black auto paint and i'm adding a blue metal flake to it. Think it will turn out nice. I wanna start prepping next weekend lol im doing a little at a time first the rear and front bumpers sanded and primed then quarters ect and filling in all the door dings. It will look like ricer hell for a while but should be nice in the end and I already gave my fiance a heads up that she's gonna be dropped off at doors for now on while I go park in Bum Fuc Egypt away from the inconsiderate.
ya know ive been TEMPTED to go OEM SI lip... BUT how flexable is it?... i was gonna do with a real greddy lip BUT i dont think its flexable at all.... so i got rid of that idea cause i know ill drag it on stuff...

sorry man, i'm not trying to call you out or anything, just saying that honestly, just think about it. They're two little holes...i mean let's be real. different types of wheels with bigger or smaller gaps between spokes would make a bigger difference in cooling the brakes i think than this lip. You just have to use common sense, it will not make a noticeable difference. and just cuz mugen designed it does not mean that it necessarily serves a purpose, i mean, they have wings that go on the back of fwd cars as well.

Nascar uses a similar design, no, it's not the same, BUT SIMILAR:

The main difference is that there is a whole air duct system directing the air to the brakes. The lip only has the hole that directs the air.

what size blue flakes are you putting in the paint. i would do glamor flakes the smaller ones that are used in the factory paints and don't put alot in because that would be rice..
