Default Having Problems With My Hood Closing!

Hey guys, Ive read around on here about hood problems but none really seem to match the problem I am having. I put on a VIS CF hood a little over a year ago. I never had any problems with it, other than the nozzles for the windshield wiper fluid wont fit. Tonight I was trying to close my hood, but it wouldnt shut. The first latch goes over the hook, but the next one just wont pop up and latch it down. I lubed the ever living **** out of it and cleaned some gunk i saw in there, but still no go. Any suggestions? I am supposed to be leaving for CO tomorrow so I HAVE to get this fixed! Thanx!

have you tried to just push it closed after the first hook latches? Mine sort of jams like this sometimes...

most likely the cable is sticking and not allowing iit to close completely, i have a similar issue from time to time, if you look to the left of the latch a bit, you will the the cable with a ball on the end, and there will be a little metal part that looks like a can, take a screw drive and push on that and it should move about ½ an inch. then your hood should shut
