i have a 98 civic hx and was wondering how to get them out so i can put in a black housing in them, any tips for me or things to watch for? if there are any links please put them on or if u have pics that works too thanks!

 

disconnect the wiring harness, unbolt the top 2 bolts and lift out..

 

are you just swapping out headlight? need to remove front bumper bolts near fender and under panel. couple clips on top of the grill. and 4 bolts holding the headlight together.

 

rofl that is completely wrong. The headlight harness has 4 bolts not 2.

You need to remove the bumper and do as sfgaints said.
