Default head/tail lights

i'm looking for the type of lights that you would see on some 3000gt's. i'm not sure exactly what they're called but its basically a stock light with a cover (matching the color of the car) with two or three holes just for the light to pass through. pics below. anyways, i was wondering how to get these. is it just painted, or are they coveres? or what. any info would help a ton. thanks guys

I believe they're just painted/vinyls, but I'm not positive. You can also get projectors that just have light outlets (example), but personally, I hate that look. That being said, it's your car.

Also, if you want to do it to your tails, they do make covers for that.

those are pretty cool. i just think if i changed my stock heads and tails to those it would look 100x cleaner.

do you think its a necessity to have projectors? or would stock would aswell?

Well, with how reflector headlights work, you'd be blocking off most of the light output on your stock headlights. With projectors, the actual lights themselves are smaller (even the reflector high beams they usually have) which is why you can cover up most of the headlight with no problems.

And I'm just going to put this out there, I really don't think that look would look good on a civic, but that's just my opinion.
