Help choosing corner lights
#22
Exactly. That's why it uses an 1157 bulb, 1157 has a dual filament. One filament is lit during normal operation, 2 used when it flashes.

i've just replaced my headlight today and saw that the front corner light looks similar to the rear turn signal. took my rear turn signal bulb and place them in the front. and they worked. mines uses bulb size 7440 for the front and rear. For some reason my front turn signal bulb uses the same rear turn signal bulb. i have a 99 civic hx.
if you can find out if your front turn signal bulb is 7440 as well then i can sell a set of the blue bulb that shines white to you made by Razo i think, for $5 plus maybe $2 shipping. its barely used, i dont even remember if i used it or not, i have 2 sets. the other one i used for like a year and still works fine.

i'm not 100% sure. for my car, the sylvania guide said my car uses 3496 as well, but took my headlights out and they use 7440. not sure about your car, do you remember if your bulb was a round bottom or a wedge bottom?
