Default Help on Choosing Tail lights

I just bought a 92 civic LX. Heather gray in color. It has some gay Altezza lights that it think look tacky. I wanted to get rid of them and put some new ones. I like the half red/clear one but didnt think they would look good ona gray car. Would it look wack if i tinited the clear half?

stick with stock tail lights, but i like the idea of the red and clear ones. if you decide to tint it would look better if you tint the red instead of the clear. your thinking about these right? Red/Clear Tail Light

those look much better. i would get the red/ clears over the stock ones for the same reason as you prefer clear over orange.

Thanks for your opinion. I think thats what i am going to do. Then ill see if i tint the clear part because i plan on getting Black housing projector headlights. On your sig i seen that you had some. Are they plastic.Cuz i had some on my previous civic but after about a year the plastic started to fuz up. They are no longer clear, its kind of a permanent fog.

I was reading posts and there is one that shows that you can get that gunk off of your lights

anytime you buy new headlights, you should seal them up with some clear silicone RTV, that should prevent this problem. it has nothing to do with them being plastic, just a bad seal between the lense and the housing.

red/clear tails FTW
i had some on my old 93 civic
