I have a 99 si and have the exact same problem. Its manufacturers fault. Bad prep or solutin or something. They screwed up, simple as that. I plan on getting a CF hood. I got a quote to get my bumper and hood repainted and he said about $750

Oh and as far as my opinion goes, I would opt for a repaint. Even though carbon fiber looks good on green, I prefer paint, on any color for that matter... That's just my opinion. [8D]

i think CF hoods look good on cars where htey really stand out like red and ESPECIALLY yellow, but those pics looked good, kind of a subtle touch on a green civic. You'll also lose a couple pounds with the CF hood.
