I was watching an episode of Unique Whips on speed (not a great show but interesting to see what installs they're doing) and they had that same problem with a benz they were doing, fussing with the adjusters to get the door to shut properly...

The way I've seen it said to install lambo hinges is to take the fender off and then while the door is closed and taped to the car swap the old hinge and install the lambo unit... I have a feeling tho this will still lead to having to adjust the door but I think it's alot better than removing the whole door and ruining the alignment...
