Lips and mostly stock look

RE: Lips and mostly stock look
bigger wheels don't give more traction really, wider wheels do. Try a 16" or 17" MAX wheel with some quality rubber on it. In all honesty, most people will say that they would prefer 15 or 16's on this forum. The bigger you go, the more your ride quality suffers, and the more weight you are adding to a rotating body. When i get new lightweight wheels i'm sticking with the 15's, but i can understand people wanting 16's or 17's for style. But 18's, that's just too big by most peoples standards. If you're looking for a two in drop or less, the tokico hpk set up is nice. It works great if you're on a budget and looking for a modest drop with modest handling upgrades.

Thanks for the info on the tokico ill look that up. I was thinking about a 17 x 7 wheel but i wasnt sure. I dont like the 16's personally. They are just to small. I was thinkin all along about the 17's and i agree with you all that 18's are to big i just thought they were wider so i would have more grip. For rubber i was gonna go wit ones that had traction for everything....so we will see how that works lol

i have 17s and when I first got them i was stoked because they look great, but after having them for a while they really start to beat the crap out of you and now I wish i had gone with 15s or 16s

Yeah... I have 17's right now, and I plan on getting some lightweight 15's. Honestly, the ride with my 17'sis liveable (though not comfortable by any means), but the biggest problem I have with them is the weight. These 18lb wheels are absolutely killing my car's performance lol. I'd say get 17's if you just want them for looks, but get 16's if you want the looks without the added unsprung weight.
