i dont think u should get it..your car looks clean and if your hood looks as good as the rest of the car dont change something like the hood unless u get a dent or something in it ..but why buy a new hood when yours is perfectly good

 

Thats actually why I am looking for the hood.... I counted about 83 chips before I stopped counting and by the time winter comes back to Oregon that hood will rust up soo bad. My wife and I are doing alot of back and forth to Japan so the cars will be sitting around for a while... and the civic is at the bottom of the totem pole so it sits in the rain while the other two are garaged. I wash and wax/buff the car usually once a week but I cant stop the chipping from rocks. If the pic was the highest quality you'd see the windshield is trashed as well.

 

You can always just repaint your original hood. It looks good, but i wouldnt get one for my car.

 

The only reason I would buy a CF hood is if I was getting serious about cutting the weight of the car. And even when I did get the CF, I'd have it sprayed to match the rest of the car.

 

Get it! You won't regret it!

 

YEah I am getting it... if I get too much guff from my wife I will have it painted to match my car... how much will that set me back? I'm talking good as factory paint job.
