Default Lowered question

Ok so last spring I put S-Tech's on my Civic for a little drop, now since I didn't replace my LCA's the bolt broke taking off the struts on my rear drivers side so we had to cut that strut and replace it. Now I only replaced that strut since all other springs went on no problem, but now even after 6+ months im noticing my whole driver's side is slightly higher, def. in the back because of that new strut. Is that going to be forever or will it settle in a drop a little?

The shocks themselves do not support any weight or have anything to do with ride height. They simply control the movement of the spring. Did you make sure when installing them the bottom of the spring sat correctly in the perch of the shock? There is a little indentation on the spring perch where the last coil of the spring will fit snug into. If it is not in this position it'll raise the car up a bit.

You don't need to really do anything just yet. The comments I made are merely ideas to what may be the cause. You want to check this first. To do this, just jack up the car and take a look at how your spring is sitting in the shock. If it is sitting in the perch properly, then something else is causing the height to be off. But, there's not a whole lot that can cause the height to be off and this is usually the main cause. Check it out first before you tear stuff apart.

Jack your car up, take the wheel off and just look for anything funny looking to start. Take a picture if you feel like you have no idea what you're looking at.
