Default Lowered Civic Question

My 2001 Civic has been lowered by the previous owner, I recently went into get an allignment and Les Schawb said they couldn't allign it because it needed 2 front struts and a rear camber kit or something like that ($950 for all) does that price sound right for 2 front struts and a rear camber kit with labor?

That really depends on what struts your going to put on... some hight quality struts may cost that much, but your better off dooing them yourself... struts are not hard at all to do if you have any mechanical experience. i know you can get a complete set of dropzone struts for about 1-200 bucks, better quality ones are gonna cost you a bit more, I'm not too sure bout the camber kit tho... try searching on ebay, I dont know what's involved in installing one.

Ok, the only thing you need to know about Les Schwab is that they will make up things that are "wrong" with your car so they can charge you money.

camber kits are always pretty expensive. But neccesary if you wanna lower it but not chew up new tires every month
