i don't know if the intake is a real aem intake... it has the same color aem sticker by the filter, but it don't have the post thing that you bolt to thewheel-well! i looked up the part # for it and it showed a cai and looked nothing like mine, thats another reason i don't think it's real.
edit: and that filter isn't aem...autozone cheap-o i guess
i'd like to find a good cheap polished sri!

Did you just paint over the letters and then sand it down before the clear coat?
Also, I don't know if it's bad or not, but I taped over where the gromets go and where the spark plug wires connect in, you don't want paint flaking off into places you don't want it...
Notice the parts that are still silver.

time consuming.... nope not realy......
only thing to remember is when puting it back on its BEST to buy a new valve cover gasket....
i didnt my first time and i had oil leaks from it.... so i bought a new gasket and a touch of honda bond in those typcal leak spots just to be safe and so far no leaks
