DUDE, you are lucky as hell!!! I can't believe that's a Maaco paintjob! That's awesome, can you post some more detailed pics? I might have to get my car painted by them...

Where is this "Maaco" you speak of?

Thanks for the compliments. Yeah from what I understand the quality of your paintjob can vary pretty greatly from Maaco to Maaco. I am fortunate to have a nice store where I live. Also, I told the guy lots of stuff such as I don't want anything silver painted over (I doubt they would have..but wanted to make sure), and I even half jokingly asked him to give me their best painter to work on mine.

My Maaco is Southwest of Houston in Sugar Land.
Here is the address.

12050 Hwy 6 S
Sugarland TX 77478-5728
Phone: (281)933-2323

The reason Maaco is cheaper than dealers or smaller shops is because since it's a chain they can buy their paint by the millions of gallons and get it so much cheaper than the other places. It doesn't necessarily mean the paints cheap.

Oh, and I'll get some more pics once I get the sides/lip painted, and also get the car washed.

Thanks
It's pretty funny actually.
The owner forgot to include "paint side skirts" on the job plan so they didn't do it.

He said to bring it in with my lip on tuesday and they would even install my lip for me.
Fine by me!
