i'm not sure i didn't use mdf i used another multi layered wood that was said to be just as strong without about 20lbs the mdf was like lifting a man hole cover insanely heavy

i bought a 4x6 peice of wood layed the trunk carpet on it traced and stared cutting i made one cut fitted in the trunk and it fit so i started putting the carpet on the carpet makes a super tight fit if you don't put it in the cutting plan (i didn't) so thats why you see the L braces holding the wood together just to keep them from ever bowing in or one jumping out of place b/c it's so tight but i re\ather have it tight than have gaps.

ps. i did have to cut the top of the right wood to fit over some little silver piece about 1.5" again i made it a tight fit also if you want the stp by step go over to 7thgencivic and search username diskreet he has a DIY on it but i really didn't goo step by step on his i used it as a guid to what the end prodfuct is supose to look like
