All projectors have that step in the cut off shield. You can try to use some resistors for you halo's.

The cut off? Its so you cant blind people coming towards you, its a safety feature. All headlights have them, if you notice when you go up to a wall you will see the cut off line.

the step is also to help illuminate road signs but keep the light going into on coming drivers eyes to a minimum.... All projectors that are used for main driving lamps are this way, the units that aren't are generally for fog applications (where the projo is lover and doesn't need the step) or aux driving lights.

My blinkers are from checker auto... i think they were called silverstar and they look just irridescent and they glow really nice amber color. To get them in I had to squeeze my hand up in the wheel well and pull the fender down while I pulled the bulb out... cut my hand up because it was cold outside when I did it. The bulbs came in single packages and were maybe 12 dollars each.

Haha, my bad...I meant the step down. The cutoff is the best part, but the high end cars have a perfect cutoff that goes smoothly all the way accross.

If you're having two step offstry aiming them in towards each other until you get close to havingone step off. This will get rid of any space in the middle where there isn't any light.

Yeah I tried doing that, but then I get less light on the left side. It's a tradeoff either way...

Bottom line is that the only way to fix it 100% is to cut the piece...Like I said, I think it's going to be a project for this summer along with wiring up the highs.
