wow thos look really sweet,iv NEVER seen them before..i wouldnt worry about it, drive around, if they pull you over they will give you a 10 day to switch them to legal then you can worry about it

 

thanks, ive never seen them before either... the inside of the outer sections have a halo type LED light that light up red, so maybe once I get that wire in correctly it will be good enought to meet the red reflector requirement...?[sm=icon_rock.gif]

 

ther should be a marking on the bottom of the light that says "SAE DOT".....its either on the front or back i cant remember but if it has that...they are for sure legal.....but yes it does depend somewhat on what state u live in too

 

SAE/DOT stamp really means nothing these days, most still will not conform to FMVSS 108 specs. (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards). It is my bet that even though they light up red at night they are still not bright enough, and you are probably in danger of being rear-ended during the day.
