Default Need help with fog lights

hi guys,

i bought a set of these fog lights http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...;rd=1&rd=1

they are oem amber fogs for civic 92-95. I got all the wireing done and i know it works but when it came to mounting the fogs onto the bumper from the inside i couldnt do it, as ialready had the 2 little spaces on the sides of the bumper coveredwith mesh. So i took out the mesh and then i couldnt put the fogs in as it seemed to me like there was too much bumper cut away from the insidebut im not sure.

Can any1 help me please.

thanks guys

I will try my best to help you but i run with a 05 and 98 civic.

i have those driving lights but mine are clear, and if someone cut the bumper for mesh and they cut the tabs off you won't be able to mount them correctly

Well, your bumper has nothing to do with you fog lights. The grey plastic cover and foglights themselves mount directly to the black metal bracket. That black metal bracket mounts directly to the frame of the car, behind the bumper. It's easiest to remover the front bumper to install the black housing and fog light first. Then, reinstall the front bumper and screw on the grey cover. Maybe take some pictures of the black housing that came with the set and the place where they mount on the car.

if your fogs are anything like my newer 99 civic fog lights then if they cut off those tabs... your screwed and have to buy another bumper if you want them to look proper.....
tho with those fog lights they look ugly to me.. BUT its not my ride...
personaly if i was you id just get some other small fog lights and then mount them behind the bumper grills.....
or just buy a new bumper and try again
