Hey, I've been looking at getting a new grill for my car. After looking on ebay i found a jdm type r style (no it does not say type r on it....maybe if i had a b18 in it i would get one that said that, but not a d16) real carbon fiber grill to replace the bland and everyday look of the stock flat black plastic/chrome H sign. The only problem is that it says it fits the 96-98 models, and i have a 99 civic. I know the did some minor changes in the 98-99 redesign, but would the 96-98 still fit my 1999?

Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

it should be ok and at the very worst you might need to modify and retro fit it in there a bit.

 

I'm sure if you searched for the 96-98 on ebay you could find one just like it for your model....

then you wouldn't have to mod it or worry about anything... except having to take the bumper off to put the damn thing in! [:@]

i dont think the 98 grills will fit, if you look at the 98 , they are different from 99-00, they are smaller and go in more type of thing
