ok so with all the glow talk from additcion and badb0ybilly i want to get my car lit up now...lol.I need you guys to give me some color options since my car is silver and black.I also wanted to get some ideas from you guys on where i could put these and how much i should do without being annoyed with them pretty quickly.Im thinkin i want my floor lit up pretty good so i was thinking i wanted some under my seats i just dont know how long or what kinds i would need to do this.I do want some in places ppl driving around me would be able to see them as well....Well you guys kinda get the picture by now with kinda what i want so give me some ideas and what i can do since i dont have any idea on where to start or wire these things up.

 

I am having the same problem deciding what colors to go with for myself. I have the black thing going on as well, and all I can think about is the Fast and the Furious Green underbody kits, lol.

Anyway, I would say if you got a pair of those 4.7" flex strips and wired them together you would have an extra nice glow under the dash and the passenger dashes, thats similar to what I did, and I have a nice level of light, that isn't too annoying to others. Plus I have 2 under the rear seats mounted to face backwards towards the back wall thing, so they light up the feet of the back-seat drivers quite well, and the set of 4, switch, fuse and all is dooable under 30 bucks.

I am on the individual kick now, I bought some 3mm blue led's, *blue is thus far my interior color of choice*, and I am going to try and mount 1 in each drink holder, and later mount some in the door handles, maybe in the roof light, wherever I can get away with a nice look thats not too distracting.

I say just order you some loose LED's and let your imagination work. The pics they have on Oznium give some great ideas of what you can do. I even saw them in the headlights and tail-lights, fogs, wherever, and I liked that look!

 

im kinda leaning towards blue on the inside too...like i said though i dont really know how to wire this stuff up and what is all involved.....i know addiction will see this later on and key me in on everything...lol

 

Red in the inside looks good too.

 

Hopefully you're not going to be driving around with LEDs distracting other drivers... that's means for a ticket.
You can't have LEDs/Neons on while your car is in motion.

 

For underbody kits that is a big legal no no... but you can have lights in your car as long as they are not distractive to others and yourself. My wife's audi has white accent lights at the feet that I would LOVE to have in the civic... but everyone's pictures make them look soooo bright...

 

for stu i think you should go with the green, its a sweet color that goes with a black car. n8te i think you should go with green as well, get the little tubes from autozone and just wire them up in your car.

 

i know the rules ans everything with the whole distracting driver thing...im not a newb on that i was just saying a bit of glow not like seeing the bulb or anything.It seems like too many ppl are already going with green on here so i dont know if im gonna go with that or just go ahead and stick with blue...more thoughts on all this later...lol

 

that usually changes from state to state, but yeah, usually it is illegal.

I say white to match your cars color scheme. If you have any of colored accents on your interior, i say just match the neon to those.
