im thinking for starters im gonna get the 12' cathode kit and put it under the dash on both sides...im sure that will be some pretty good glow from those....i mean damn you just cant beat that price for the kit.

 

very true. but depends what your looking for in terms of color output. the led strips are a nice real tone blue while the blue cathodes are like white/blue. ove got a combination with my trunk setup. looks very sweet.

12s. I put them under the seat because they give off better light there. If you mount them under the dash chances are that you are gonna have a shadow right near the seat. Also its a lot easier to put them in and change them if they get broken.
