Ok I know you all hate the Aluminum "Airplane" wing but i was just wondering how this would work... Ok My Civic Is white and im looking to do Black and red Detailing on it so My wing right now is the way i wanted it.. just black but i think the black is a very plain looking black like a dull look asking to be painted.. So I was wondering if I wanted to paint the wing to match and look better with the car how do i paint it?? also what paint would yuou use for it?? could you use like a gloss black/red or w/e and just sand down the wing or would you use a diffrent process?? Your car would look so much better without the wing.

 

you can go and get metal paint at your local parts store, then you just need to scuff it up a little with a scuff pad, primer and paint and clear. I think black looks good tho...

 

See now i was debating on wheather i wanted to do a white on black/red or white on black??? what do u think mill$ also do you know anything about shaving off the line down the side of the car?? just wondering??

 

both red on white and red on black looks good, i guess white would match the car nicely..but its all up to the color scheem your going for..

for shaving the line down the side, it requires alot of body work..i would research body work on the net before starting a project like that, its alot of learn and get good at before you want to start on the side of your car
