Will this technique work on a Red civic? Or will it be too hard to match the color??

I would at least to a simple green scrub down before starting it, and maybe a light fine quick sanding... but i could be talking out of my ***. Ive been wanting to get my side skirts done too.

I am about to be getting a headunit too. Is it really worth installing it yourself cause this shop I am at said If I bought from them they will install for free and charge for the parts, but they said that if I bring them the wiring harness, plastic frame thing, and one other thing that I can't remember, then they said it would be free as a bird for install.

hey, if theyr doin it for free go for it, but it seems kinda weird that they would do it for free (unless ur buyin the headunit from them in which case u could get a much better deal of ebay usually), but yeah from what ive heard/seen it really doesnt seem too hard to do and if all else fails my friend has done tons of much tougher installs (full systems, not just theadunits) and he'll help me out.

Thanks again, Evan

headunits are a piece of cake......just unscrew the dash piece under the steering wheel and unscrew the piece that go from the stock player to the arm rest and then its pretty much splicing and soldering
