hey, sorry for bringing this thread from the dead but i want to do the same thing. is painting it easy? can a noobie do it? i have never painted car part before. how many coats and how long did you let it dry?

anybody can do it.... just clean the muffler alittle some brake cleaner and a towel works very quick...
hell i painted my fart can black on my 94 cause all that chrome looked crapy to me...LOL
and as soon as i get this new twin loop muffler im gonna paint it all black besides the tip as well...
