i tryed the z6 head once with everything to make it vtec and lets just say it didnt work out so hot. If im gonna start to do anything inside the motor im gonna do a b18c1 fully built for like 30psi of boost.

its gonna get pricy but at that point the car will be only a drag car

but i have though about the 16 valve non vtec like the b7 head, same identical block just different head..

 

Go with the y7 head, you can get delta cams for it and the quench area of the y7 head will lower you compression allowing you to up your boost a lil.

 

nice car....i think a cf hood would look really good with it.

 

i say leave the stock hood, don't listen to thses carbon lovers lol... keep the stock hood(even though you didn't say anything about buying a new one) i like the sleeper look

 

well i was looking at first the invader style hood because of the cutout and how it would remove heat from the turbocharger and engine better but then i saw one on a red civic sedan driving around town and i dont really like it anymore, i think im going to go with the oem VIS carbon fiber hood because my hood is all chipped and starting to rust very tiny spots all across the hood in the front and plus i really dig the look of carbon fiber....
