I've been browsing online at various accessories for my 2006 4D Civic, and I've noticed that the body kits and hoods all specify 2D or 4D. I know that they're a little different, but the fronts look the same to me. Will the 2D hoods and front bumpers really not fit on the 4D? It doesn't seem that much smaller?

Well, if you have looked and they seem a little smaller then Id say that pretty much answers your own question, If they look smaller, They will be too small surely?

 

Well I meant that they looked the same to me. I looked up the dimensions on the honda site and there's only an overall difference of 2 in in length, 3 in height, and 0.3 in width. Do you think that's enough that the 2D hood wouldn't fit on the 4D?

 

i work auto body and we order hoods all the time that barly fit the car they are ment for, some times you have to reajust the fenders and bumper just to get it to look right, i dont think it will work, just find one thats for your car

why would you order a kit that isn't made for your car though?

 

Well it's for the same car, just the two door model instead of the four. I just wanted to know if the hoods and front bumpers were interchangeable between the two, because size wise they're almost the same.
