REMOVAL question
i have a 1998 honda civic Ex and i want to change the color on the plastice casing all around my headunit and vent and all my AC controls...howdo i take that plastic piece off on the year of my model?
Its a headache,
First you have to remove the arm rest, then the plastic over the shifter, then remove the glove box,
after that remove the plastic under the steering coulomb, then remove the plastic cover that holds the astray.
Once thats all done take a pick and pull out the hazard and rear defogger buttons, once thats out of the was
there is a screw in each hole then move under the dash and take out the other 2 or 3 screws that hold the
bezel in, pull on it a little, not to hard just in case you missed one.
Good luck

Ok here's the thread I posted on about it.

Scroll down the page a little and you'll see the service manual diagrams I posted for it. I think it shows a 98 but I believe they are almost exactly identical.
