Default Removing Dash trim (around stereo etc)

Hi,

I have a 98 Civic EX and I am having trouble removing the black trim around the dash. I removed the 2 screws on the bottom but see no other screws. Can anybody give me suggestions or tricks to do this?

Thanks
Jeff

You have to take off the piece with the power outlet... take off the trim piece under the steering wheel, there's two screws in there, then there's two behind the edge of the glovebox. After you get the piece with the power outlet off, there's four screws up under there that hold the whole stereo/heater control/trim thing in, take the four screws out and jimmy the whole unit out. Take the plugs out of the back of it, should be three including the stereo and it's out.
