Default Reupholstered Door Panels

i used this diy to do my door panels.
http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=473878

the kid that owned the car before me somehow thought that red will match the car (grey exterior with maroon interior) and put this fabric on.

i took them off andd showed the greenish plastic part of the car for a couple months. figured that looked better then that ugly *** red. and i just finished all 4 doors. and now it looks like this.

its better then the red and better then the greenish plastic.

i also put fabric on the rear speaker covers since the kid also thought that a yellow speaker cover will match the red panels marron interior and grey exterior. used the same fabric for the speaker covers.

The fabric I got was velvet. I forget the exact name. But I got it from joane's fabric. I found some YFF velvet that was pretty close to stock but they only get that material during the winter. It looks hard but afta the first 1 it gets easier. Let me know if you got any problems.

if the material and the embroydery look nice and not sloppy and cheap...then i think it will look good. it sure will make your car stand out from every other car with a simple thing like that.

Ah, the rare maroon interior. I could see how the CTR red would not be a good match. Good change.

Yea. I don't know what he was thinking. He also painted the dome light. So now I have to take it down and paint it. And he also painted the center console red. Painted it black but its not the same. And its hard to find the original color since its a maroon interior.

haha about that. first let me say. is live in MA and the car came up from South Carolina. The paint was really good for a 92. it did have some dings and dents. i bought the car for only $400 cuz the kid thought it might need a new motor since the car didnt start. i was like ill take it. Got it had my gf's dad check it out, and he said i needed a new distributer. and that was it. So far everything is working....except leaking from the oil pan. so ide say a good buy.
