so i used the civic as a practice platform before painting something that matters. lol. nah but i just needed it to be the same color and be rust free. you'll get an idea from the pics of what i mean. here's the 'before and after's. its a little ghetto but i'll take it. cost me about $80. cant complain

for 80 bucks couldnt you just go but some real paint to be sprayed at autozone for a whole gallon?

looks to me like you just sprayed it with primer.. and primer doesnt last long by itself.

 

At least use some real paint over that or something. It will be right back where it was. Id sand it again, and do something over it.

and it isnt primer. its 3 coats of satin black krylon spray paint and 4 coats of satin clear-coat. it should last a while
