Hey I have had my spoiler installed for about half a year now and I am wanting to get the led light hooked up with my brakes. I have tried connecting it directly to my brake wires on my right tail lights but ive blown two fuses trying to do this. Can anyone tell me where the wires are suppose to be connected and with what?

 

They are supposed to be connected to the third brake light.

Ok, sorry i am a little confused about the third brake light. Is that the white light part or is there a separate section for the third brake light?

 

I would remove the third brake light completely and run the wires to the spoiler. I don't know if this is how it is suppose to be done or if you can just splice it to the third light and have both.

 

When you guys say third brake light do you mean the white light one?

 

the white light is the reverse light. the thrid brake light is the light thats in bewteen the left and the right side of the brake lights. on your back window.

 

You are supposed to use the wiring that goes to the third brake light, that is, the light on the rear deck. I removed that third light and covered over it because the wiring goes to the spoiler not the thrid light.

Its very easy, all you do is unplug and plug it into the spoiler
