What do you guys do to dress up your stock steel wheels? I just purchased a 2000 Civic EX 2dr and the plastic wheel covers look like crap. I took them off and for now, can't afford rims. I cleaned up the wheels and repainted them black, but they still look plain. Does anyone have any pictures of some creative solutions for these wheels?

I would recommend spending the time you would thinking about it, saving up and buying some rims the same size as your current wheels. For like 100 a piece you can get something decent.

i bought it on ebay. called: rim trim, or rim trim. look nice. I had an accident, the front one is bend. threw it away. 3 left, if you want them, let me know. now I am rolling on this.

i have painted steelies, got my trim rings at a junk yard for $25.00 for 4 of them

Steelies are steelies. Dont try to make them look cool. Trying to make steelies cool makes your car look worse. I LOVE MY STEELIES!!! check my gallery. they actually dont look that bad on a 92-95 civic. Im saving for wheels though.

 

i actually like my steelies on my civic, it looked good with rims too, but beauty rings are like 20 bucks at autozone
