I have a 98 DX coupe and im purchasing a body kit but is it possible to leave the stock skirts on there to save some money or would it look majorly dumb? They already look lower so if i put a rear and front bumper on would it look ok or would the skirts look a lot higher?

 

if you are gonna get a body kit save up some more and go all the way

from the side it will look stupid but front and back will look good haha

 

Yeah that probably wouldn't look too good and you'd be better off just saving a little bit more to get the skirts with it.

if you want to keep the side skirts, look for a lip kit. i am going to be putting my sides back on my car with my body kit on, so i will let ya know how it looks.

 

ya most of the time it looks pretty bad from the side, just because the kit is usually so much lower and bigger..it dosent match, go for all around like these guys sead^

his side skirts do look lower than front and rear bumpers. then again...it might be the angle.

 

I think they look sweet. I'd leave em..

 

just cause i scrape everywhere and i just dont like the look of them anymore. i dont know we will see what happens. just wait until ROTY!!!!

 

where are you getting the body kit w/o the skirts?
