Ok I bought some smoke taillights from dt_moto on ebay and take a look at the trunk light...is there some sort of adapter I'm supposed to have to make the bulbs housing fit on there properly? cuz this does not make any sense ladies n gentlemen...

ps. left is stock and right is the new lights...its on a 95 canadian civic si coupe so its equal to the ex in usa right...

 

I don't there are enough details here to answer your question. It's hard to help without being there to see in person. More pictures might help a lot. I took a look at yours and I can't really tell why there would be a problem because I can't really see the minor details that well in your pictures. Maybe take a pic of each light (from the back), and then a picture of the bulb housing... all separately.
