ok..im trying to take my door handles off my 2000 civic,i got the door panel off, the 2 bolts off, the c-pin around the lock off..but the rod that goes into the door handle, how am i sopposed to unscrew that? and theres a metal bracket around the lock, i cant get that off,how do i? it looks like i need to, to pull the door handle out because its bigger then the opening...please help!!!

i took them off today...VERY easy, its just that clip in the back that i wasent seeing before..silver door handles on the way!!
