Default Tein S-Techs

Well since being in college equals poor I need a cheaper way to lower my civ. Most of my friends said that Tein S-Tech's run around $200 and can be used with OEM Struts and drop from 1.5 to 1.9.

Just wondering if these are good products and a good idea for me to go after?

S-Techs are a pretty good choice if your broke and not looking for much of a drop. They are a comfy ride and will work with your stock struts. But they won't do much for handling and the drop isn't all that noticeable.

Any other kinds of cheap drops that give me a little bit more noticeable drop?

i might pick up a set of tein super streets for $400 from my friend and sell my s-techs. or i can sell you my friends Tein Super Streets for $500 + shipping.

the s-techs is a good budget drop, it will be lower but not much, you'll want more. got my set on ebay for about $170, lots of knockoffs on ebay though so gotta watch out. I am using them on stock shocks since february 2009. so about 11 months now and still good. the ride quality isn't bad, pretty much same comfort as the stock ones

So just $140 for the first set on ebay the Neuspeed and no need for after market struts? I like the sound of that.
