Default Testing defroster lines

Im in the process of removing the rear tint. Dont ever do this yourselves. Take it to a pro.....

But anyways i know ive knicked a few lines so how do i test to see if theres not a current there so i know which ones to repair?
Is all you need is a multimeter thing?

Yep! It'll tell you if there is power flowing? Is there a gap or did you just scratch them? I have actual gaps at the top of my window and I wish I wouldnt have poked around myself... how will you go about fixing it?

all you need is a conductive paint...

and take a multimeter and use the continuity tester...

if there's a break, you'll have no continuity (no light or beeping noise)

if there's not, you'll have continuity...

pretty easy... I added to mine because i got tired of it not clearing the top of the window
