i bought my car with the tint already done and the back window is bubbled to ****...therefore it was prolly a DIY. now i have the pleasure of pulling it off and cleaning the gunk off the window without breaking the defog lines. then i will get it done by a pro. just my story.

every place that tints windows in my neighborhood charges 80 buck??? 300 is way too much.... just look for another place..

well thanx for the replies.....its till up in the air for me. I kno 300$ is way too much thats why i want to do it myself, but here in MA i got quoted 275-300$ from 6 different places......its a much different world in this state compared to others

You can get s special tint removal solution, try wally wrold. Also, I'm not sure which one, but I think the white(?) plastic scouring pads are the ones that are soft enough not to scrappe the defrost lines.
