Type R front/rear lip install questions

Well, there they are. Finally got both of them. Unfortunately, I am left with more questions.

This is the hardware that came with the rear lip. It's as straightforward as it comes: 2 on each side, two in the middle, and the two long ones on the parts that hang down lower.

This is the hardware that came with the front lip. It's a little bit different. The 4 screws go on the sides, 2 on each like the back. There are 5 pre-drilled holes, 5 clips (3 short for the middle and 2 bendy ones for the parts that hang down lower), and 5... things.

The bigger end of those post things is the same size as the smaller holes in the brackets and also the pre-drilled holes. Supposedly, they're made to fit together somehow. I don't have a clue how, though. Anyone else got an ebay front lip with this hardware? How the heck do I install the front one?
I've also got the 3M tape so once this is figured out, the lips go on and the car is 95% done on the outside.

Well, dang. I just paid insurance and bought a tv so cash is limited. I can't even begin to justify buying a tool I'l use once. How does the tool bend the rivets? If it's something I can rig, I will happily do so.

I'll treat her right, don't worry. I was gonna put at least the rear one on today, but I'm losing daylight and it's getting cold. Even if I took both bumper covers off and brought them inside to work on, I would still have to put them back on tomorrow. So I figure I'll just do it all tomorrow.
