Yah my cousin just finished his sc300 with a brand new jdm supra engine 400 whp Vroom Vroom. The lexus is only good at good at straight lines... it's a boat.. lets face it. Nice car if it fits your taste, but obviously you like it so good on you.

welcome to the site! the reason people say "get 15's, and a lip" is because it's the current fad just like how body kits and crap were 5 years ago. and just like the body kits the jdm and lip kit fad will fade and something new will come along. so i wouldn't personally call your car "rice", just old fashioned. but that's just my opinion. so what do you have done as far as engine mods?

Modding cars to look clean has been around forever. It's not going away... Now on the other hand, body kits and huge decals are a fad that popped up around the time The Fast and The Furious came to theatres. That was a fad, just some people are continuing that fad. It's just not as common as it was.

 

90% of your "tuners" are "tuners" because Fast and the Fusious made it cool. Dont knock a movie because it started a whole movement.

 

aahhhhh time to jump in on this **** w00t.

1. I respect that you like your car to be different, its how you reflect your personality. Personally i will prob never spend lots of money on aesthetics because i have little money and any money i have is going straight towards power or handling modifications not how pretty my car looks.

2. The tuner thing, idk where you got that information but it couldnt be farther from the truth. a tuner is a person who ****s around with you ecu to get greater performance out of your engine.

3. also the fact that according to your definition of car enthusiasts we are less into cars than you are because we dont make the outside of our vehicles look all fancy. IMO we actually are more into our vehicles than you are, because we are trying to get the greatest performance out of our vehicles that we can and not be all show and no go.

ok. now to the guy who said lips and **** is a fad, im gonna have to say nope. Not really not at all actually, the jdm aspect of modifying cars has been around since the "scene" began in the early 90s(thats before the Faster and furiouserrrerererrr movies btw)

ok now to the point of this. everyone is entitled to their opinion end story to each his own if you dont like it dont say anything. didnt mommy ever say if you have nothing nice to say dont say it at all. =]

One more thing before you ppl call me a hypocrite for the whole not nice thing, i speak my mind and i get the **** that comes with it, but i know the world is better off if most ppl jsut keep their fat lips zipped tight.
