dude, are you guys serious?

https://www.hondacivicforum.com/foru...ad.php?t=70974 ring a bell?

Welcome to the forum dude, props for doing your own thing. Most people (including myself) went through a body kit stage, and most of us grow to like lip kits more, but if its your thing, go with it, although i hope you realize the colors and kit don't add power

again, welcome, hope you enjoy your stay

i said it was IMO

to each there own....
ive painted dash pieces myself and grew out of it expetialy after it got all scratched up....

the new fad is LESS IS MORE... keep it clean and everything flowing smoothly.
id like to think my 99black civic has pulled it off. i myself have about 6K invested in aftermarket parts... it sure doesnt look like it. but everything adds up quickly

main reason i hate body kits is most are crap in short.... horible fitment and the owners dont tweek the body kit to fit properly... and 2nd first thing you bump into destroys that piece.... accidents happen all the time...
at front lip can drag on stuff all day long and bounce back and just have a few scratches

ya i do like the air ride... i never complained about that i myself wouldnt mind air myself BUT i went with a solid suspension.
plus ive heard of problems around winter areas where moisture can freeze in the lines and valves not work properly.

its just first time ya hit something on the body kit it could be smashed... or even if you drop the air after parking and the front or rear bumper slightly touching the curb or debri could be enough to damage it.
accidents happen all the time.... even road debri while driving down the interstate or a behind a car or truck that somethings fall off and you cannt avoid.

its just not my style with it being so fragile....
i was going to go with a body kit when i first got my civic but then i started looking at all the civics around town that had them and all of them where either busted up all over and/or fitment was horible. so i stayed clear of body kits.

so i was reading this entire post and 1. i'd like to nice car it's not my style but def. nice job especially if thats what your going for =] and 2. to all the haters say hi (for the ones that said its rice) and 3. i think HCF should just make a whole entire section on the topic tuning for where people can argue it out there instead of messing up your thread on the appearance of your hard work you put into your car. just a thought

I'd just like to say that I respect all the work you've done on your car. Some of it is not to my taste, but it's your car. You can do anything to it that you want.
