Default vinyl roof

I was just wondering if the roof can be customized with like a vinyl cover. Like a silver body and black roof?

People do vinyl wraps all the time. Its like a cheap paint job. They don't last as long, but I've seen them.

Some people do the carbon fiber hoods and trunk lids with a black or fake CF vinyl roof to make it all match.

I sure hope you don't mean one of these:

Vinyl wrap is ok, but needs to be done by a professional otherwise it'll peel and bubble.

What is it that you'd do on a roof of a civic (without it collapsing) that requires a cushion?

LOL @ Stifflersmom

Wouldn't you like to do that on the roof of a civic and have some cushion

No. I find van roofs and hummer roofs to be most appropriate.

hummer on a hummer... nothin gets better than that!

@op: i would just take it to a vynal wraping place and ask them, it should last long as long as you dont peel it or have it in excessive heat. where are you from?

yes there are may ways to wrap your car, one thing I plan to do to mine is the same thing you are talking about with the black roof. THE KEY is to not get the garbage cheap vinyl. 3M makes a product called control tac (ask your local sign company) that material comes mostly in white and then printed and laminated to what ever color, design, picture. but they do have a from the factory black control tac it is easy to apply because it is a dry application and easy to pick up and put back down. ( I can instruct you step by step) dont get it wet thought it wont stick and you will lose the vinyl. If you cant find anyone with it pm me and we will go from there. I do this stuff on a daily basses. Please anymore questions let me know im glad to help
