Question Want to buy a paint gun...

So two questions:

1.) I need to paint my bumper and hood but people have told me if I rattlecan it that it will chip and peel like there's no tomorrow. If I use a paint gun would that make a big difference?

2.) What type of paint gun and where to buy it... I want to spend less than $100 and someone I know has a compressor I can borrow but it's just a smaller one used for nail gun etc etc.

Thanks!

Buying a cheap gun that costs under 100 dollars is gonna give you a close finish to a rattle can. You're gonna get a lot of orange peel for sure.

Also make sure that you have a regulator on that. And you're gonna need a moisture subtractor(not the official name can't think of it now). If you don't you're gonna be spraying out paint and water. And those don't mix to well.

Are you asking what are good paints?? Glasuirit(which is what I spray, superb finishes, super expensive) others are ppg and dupont

Mind you those paints are gonna need to be mixed with hardner, and a reducer

Or dupli-color sells a ready to spray paint mix. Idk how well it is or anything. Just yhrowin that out there.

Please just edit your posts next time instead of posting like crazy.

You can buy a can of almost perfectly matched paint from Automotivetouchup.com Touch Up Paint, Aerosol Spray Paint and Paint Touch Up Accessories
