I got a 106 in a 45 in cali and had 2 points on my lisence and I think around a 300 dollar fine. Didnt lose my lisence or anything like that. Your insurance will roughly double though.

You might think of hiring a lawyer on this one. Either way, it aint gonna be cheap.

i know anything over a 100mph in colorado is an automatic felony and trip to jail do not past go. I wonder what the police would of done to my friends that hit 182mph in his supra racing some bikes. down the interstate? I bet it would of been ugly

I was not speeding in an economy car, this was when I still had my BMW, so 108 isnt that fast for it. My last speeding ticket was 97 in a 60 and that cost $464 (this was 3 years ago) so Im expecting at least a $500 ticket, WHen I got pulled over the cop ordered me out of the car at gun point, it was pretty scary, he thought I was running from him, he said he paced me @ 115 but the radar only got 108, HE also said he could take me to jail but since I was in the military he wouldnt. This ticket is part of the reason im not getting another bimmer, I know if I have a civic I wont want to go over 85 because any thing above that would be dangerous. Also there were virtualy no cars on the road at the time of my infraction. thanks for the insight guys

ive easily hit over 120 in my civic with out feeling of losing control of the car. i do not do that anymore tho that time that i hit 120 i almost got nabbed luckily it was for racing a crappy ford ranger i think he topped out at about 110 and we both got off the freeway at the same exit i look back and there was a CHP right behind him guess who got the ticket?

ok, here in montana, they started posing speed limits, it sux, i came here from alaska 2 years ago, and i was really hoping there still wouldnt be any, so i can top my car out where ever i want, for jsosocal, 4 tickets in 4 years, that isnt that bad, i just got my 4th ticket to nights ago, but that was for a BS reason, if you read the post about it you'll C y, the other 3 were for speeding, two of them were 20+, and one was 18+...lol... i love to race, and my first one, i was doing about 85 in the 35, but i slowed to 65 in it, befor i got radared...lol... if your ticket is like 500$ then damn, mine were all under 110$
