you guys are bein to specific.. your probably not going to find a 64 impala or 67 malibu just kickin aorund without some seriouse searching... specially not one in decent condition.. just pic a certain year and go from tehre.. most decades of cars follow eachotehr styles.. 50s cars are all like swoopy and flowing sorta look to them the 60s turned from that into beefed up rear ends and quarters and that went into the mid 70s and then you got some turnign into the boxy style look and so on.. so what do you like.. somthin that looks fukin fast just sittin tehre like a 60-70s car or sumthin classy liek a 50's car or somthin that will suprise the **** out of somebody when you step on it like a newer muscle car like 75-mid 80's?

it all dpeneds on what you can find..

Thats the magic of the chevy smallblock V8. it may not be the most powerful engine in stock form, it can get very vicious with bolt-ons and some hard work and is really only limited by your pocketbook.

Yea try to find damn near any old dodge product fora decent price. BTW that was a big block and you can honestly make more power than that for cheaper. Take a small block 350(out of a old truck with 4 bolt mains) which you can pick up for damn near nothing, have the machine work done on the block which will run you $75 to $150 depending on what all is done. Get a set of 2.02 heads, a weiand high rise dual plane intake, 11 to 1 pistons, forged rods, and a 3.75 inch stroke crank. Add a nice lunati cam and your looking at the same power for around $2000 to $2500 then it gets fun because it will love a nice 175 to 200shot. Put that in a mid 80's Regal/Olds along with a 400 turbo transmission, a good stall converter depending on which cam you go with, a 12 bolt rear end with 4.10 gears and you will be yanking your front wheels and running 10's
