If you like metal that's hard, angry, scary, haunting, sometimes beautiful and poetic. Otep must at least be given a chance. but i warn you that it is not for everyone. The singer, a blonde female, has quite possibly the sickest scream in metal (next to corey taylor) without any effects and she is intense.

I believe in an interview for a magazine marilyn manson said: (of OTEP's singer ms.Otep Shamaya) "That girl scares me".
