I would say most you get is a 25 dollar gift certificate.
Im thinking more around $50. I wrote to the CEO of the company.......basically saying "I told your customer service reps that I had a problem, they attempted to correct it, but didnt.....". Besides, they already sent me 10$.....Im sending it back, with the letter. I just hope no one gets fired. I used to work at applebees as a server........you could literally order an app, salad, steak and dessert, EAT it completely.........complain to the manager saying it was the worste food u EVER had and the service sucked.........theyd comp the entire check........Believe me, Ive seen it happen many times...........so writing a letter to the CEO should get me pretty far........Whats it matter anyway? I have nothing to lose, I did this because I was bored today.

As far as not discussing the dining experience, they have access to my original email, which was step by step how the meal went.

I think if you want anything of substance, you have to send it snail mail. It's a hard copy and tangible and it shows that you are serious. Anybody can send an email, but it takes a whole 5 minutes out of your life to send an actual, physical correspondance.

Chili's is the worst. I am not sure if it's a case of doctors make the worst patients since Pete and I are/have been in the industry, but they will let anybody serve at that place. I consider writing one of these letters every time I leave that place.

I am totally going to start writing more of these letters. On the golf course the other day, I broke a Titleist golf ball. Yeah, busted it right in half. That should not happen. I keep meaning to write them, but you know how it is. All I want is a sleeve of new ones. I mean, ProV's are $15 a sleeve, they shouldn't be busting.

We should make a "Consumer's Corner" here in the forum to discuss and share these experiences.

Oh okay.

It was superbowl sunday. We were going home from cali and had a connecting flight in Chicago.... We wanted to have a beer, get some food and watch the game. So we went to chilis. They werent that busy. We sit down, order 2 beers...and chips&Salsa.......15 mins go by and the waitor finally brings us our beer. Then I asked what kinda soup they had. He said chili and broc cheddar.......so we each ordered soup, and a burger........So 5 more mins and the chips and salse finally come.......I see some dude eating weird soup so i asked what i was (asked the guy eating it) He said its chicken tortillia soup...........(I guess he was special) So then a minute (literally 1 min) the waitor brings over the soup...(we had like a 1.5sq ft table).........I asked him why he didnt tell me about the chick tort soup.......he claims he doesnt have it....Whatever, I dont care.......so were eating chps and salsa and waiting to finish them before we eat the soup........were in NO rush. we didnt even touch the soup yet and he brings the burgers out..........So i said "Are you kidding" and he goes "Hey relax it will be ok"..............So i asked to see the manager.......because I work in a restautant and i know those burgers were just going to sit under a heat lamp for 30 mins until we are ready to get em........the manager said hell have them make us new burgers...........so we finally tell the dude were ready for the burgers.......and he brings em out........the buns are rock hard, and they are room temperature........4 beers, 2 burgers..........60$.......thats not why I wrote the letter thou.........I wrote it because the restaurant was slow, and the waitor was a complete deuchbag......never appologized once........and the manager was a handjob........so well see what i get out of this.

The insults are pretty funny, but the service sounded really terrible. I would have asked for my money back, especially for the burgers.

chilis is a really good restuarant and the one we got to has nothing but the hottest girls in town, so even if there service was sh*t we still got a pretty good show. lol
Hot chicks? ast chilis? All we have is large women at ours. the only places we have hot chicks are the really fancy restaurants like Chop House, Connor's, parkside tavern and of course, Hooters. all the girls at the fancier restaurants wear tight fitting black clothes that show every curve in their body. mmmm....mmmm....good. lol
