People truely dont understand how much more fun a car is to drive when it can handle good
truer words were never spoken. I had my cat-back and intake on as my first mods last summer. Now that I have my new suspension on, I wish I would have done things the other way around. (ie, suspension first) I would get an intake (mine if you want, I'll cut you a deal), and work on the suspension. The intake will help with throttle response, that's the only reason I think you should do that right off the bat.

Nothing beats downshifting into a 35mph offramp and comfortably hugging the turn at 65+

yeah first thing im doing when i get an EG is the suspension. Tokico Illuminas and H&R Sport springs, possibly some megan racing strut/sway bars if i can get enough money, but they'll be after the shocks and springs if i cant afford them at the same time.

depends what your going for. if you want looks, then do rims. if you wanna increase hp then do the intake. suspension is always a good idea too because if you ever wanna boost it, it will be able to handle it. aftermarket suspension is good for the car as well, a nice smooth ride.

suspension for sure. That's the first thing I modded on my car and it's a night/day difference. Just always make sure to get quality stuff, since cheap crap will not last as long, and you will end up wasting money in the long run. I also recommend to change your tail lights and remove the hub caps.

the first real mod i did to my car was poly bushings. my car is 16 years young and that was the single biggest thing i have ever done, it felt completely different like i just spend 1k on new coilovers, and i was rollin on stock steelies and it could handle great. so go the suspension route first with a GOOD set of springs and shocks.

Yeah, they were on the car when I bought it, and am looking to either trade/sell them. I'm looking for stockers/JDM-style or black/CF. I don't want chrome tails on this one!

How 'bout this:
Skunk 2 Intake Manifold - 299.58
Greddy SP Cat-back - 480+shipping
AEM CAI - 240.26

Not bad. But you could save an assload of money by just buying my CAI.

....and I still think you should tackle suspension first. You'll wish you did down the road, but to each his own.
